If you’re running a blow molding machine, there’s a 95% chance our gear will fit right in. We aren’t trying to force a “universal” fit on everyone; we just stuck to the electrical and physical standards that PET bottle production actually uses.
The Power Stuff
Most ovens need a lot of punch to get that heat density right. Because of that, we make tubes ranging from 230V to 400V.
Take a 400V 2500W tube—it puts out a massive amount of thermal energy. That’s what you need to soften PET preforms quickly. Just double-check that your wiring and power supply can actually handle that load. And a heads-up: if your cooling system is a bit weak, the heat from these high-wattage tubes might trip your sensors.
Quartz and Connections
We use heavy-wall quartz glass infused with halogen. It’s a smart move because it lets the lamp run hotter without killing the filament.
As for the fit? We use standard R7s and Sk15 connectors. That means you can just wire them up. No hacking apart your lamp holders or swapping out the whole socket assembly.
Some of our tubes even have a special coating. It shifts the infrared spectrum so the heat actually sinks into the PET wall instead of just scorching the outside.
Real Talk: On the Shop Floor
At the end of the day, nobody wants downtime. When a lamp pops, you can’t spend three hours re-engineering your oven.
Our lamps match the length and diameter of the big-brand OEM parts. You can swap a dead tube in a few minutes and get back to work.
One last thing:**be careful with the glass.**Quartz is fragile. Always wear gloves. If you get skin oils on the tube, it creates a hot spot that’ll crack the glass the first time it heats up. Not a great way to start a shift.
