Usually, you’re standing there shivering, waiting for a furnace to kick in and slowly nudge the air temperature up.
But ceiling infrared heaters work differently. They don’t bother with the air; they just beam heat straight down onto you and your gear. When you hook these up to a smart system, you stop messing with clunky wall switches and start letting the building do the thinking for you.

You’ve got coolant mist hanging in the air, constant humidity, and a layer of grime that seems to find its way into everything. If you’re using a standard infrared heater, it’s basically a ticking time bomb. They just aren’t built for the grit of a real workspace.

Meet the Heat Beast for Tight Spaces

We built this workshop heater for one reason: to slip right into industrial machines and cramped workspaces and throw off serious, controllable heat. It’s a 400V, 2500W halogen infrared tube, just 300mm long, wired with an R7s connector. The whole point? Packing a lot of warmth into a small footprint, where space is tight and you need heat fast.

Power where it counts

Here’s the thing about this heater: it’s small, but it’s seriously powerful. The 400V supply and 2500W rating give you a ton of heat from a compact tube. At just 300mm long, it slips into spots that give other heaters fits—think recessed corners, small ovens, or that auxiliary gear that never seems to have enough room.
That kind of power density means you get rapid temperature rise. But, and this is important, it also means you need a control circuit that’s up to the job and enough airflow to keep things cool. If you’re running this in a sealed cabinet, make sure the ventilation is matched to the heat load.
