It’s all about finding that sweet spot for your specific room. Picking the right wattage I usually look at it in three simple tiers. If you’ve got a tiny powder room (under 4m²), a 400W to 600W lamp does the trick. It keeps the chill away without turning the room into a sauna. For your average mid-sized bathroom (4m² to 8m²), you’ll want something between 800W and 1200W. Bathrooms are tricky because tiles and mirrors just soak up the heat, so you need a bit more punch to fight that. Then there are the big master baths. Anything over 8m² usually needs a few 1500W units or one really heavy-duty array. You want the warmth to actually reach the center of the room, not just the spot right under the lamp. The “magic” of IP65 and infrared These aren’t your typical space heaters. They don’t bother warming up the air; they beam heat directly onto you and the surfaces around you.
